Hi everyone!
I’m very excited to share one of my latest oil on canvas paintings called “Purple Galaxy”.
This painting is very special to me for several reasons. Each of my paintings contain a different 72 Name of God, and this particular one (on the bottom right of the painting) injects the energy of “Going the Extra Mile”. Many times, we face a hurdle in life, and we do a lot of work that’s almost complete, but never completely finished, which leaves us defeated in accomplishing our dreams. And the reason why I chose this Name of God for the “Purple Galaxy”, is because in our consciousness, we should always know that the amount of times we try should be limitless, like the universe, so we never give up in following through with our seemingly impossible dreams.
According to Kabbalist Rav Berg, the color purple (which dominates much of the painting) is all inclusive of all the colors combined, and is the color of great spirituality. Perhaps for this reason, the color purple in science, psychology, and history, is associated with royalty and extravagance. The unity of colors contained in the color purple symbolizes the unity in our universe and galaxy, and represents in this painting that all of humanity are meant to be one and unified. Purple also represents our perfected self.
Also, there is a sense of wonder and much left to the imagination in this painting, which builds a sense of curiosity for the viewer. In addition, one cannot help but feel the serenity and tranquility in this galaxy, which reflects the power and beneficence of the Creator and the Oneness in our galaxy 🙂
